01 — The studio
Where breaking
meets breath
Break Brahma is a small, independent studio in Dooravani Nagar built on an unusual pairing: the raw physicality of breaking and the stillness of yoga. Same floor, same breath, two disciplines that sharpen each other.
It was co-founded by Bgirl Johanna — two-time Red Bull BC One Cypher India champion and a member of the Black Ice crew — and it has grown into a home for Bengaluru's breaking community: a place to train, to hold a freeze a second longer, to learn to fall properly, and to meet the people who will push you.
The studio has hosted cyphers and workshops with national and international faculty, and the crowd that fills it — Black Ice crew members, visiting dancers, complete first-timers — is the reason people keep coming back.

Doors open from 7:30 am, and the day's shape depends on what's running — a morning yoga session, kids' classes, evening breaking, or a cypher that carries on late.
